An Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is now at the Duman Microenterprise Center. Free technical assistance is available to US citizens, immigrants and refugees who want to start or expand a small business.
Technical assistance services to individuals include: help with business plans, financial projections, marketing, pricing, competitive analysis, licenses, permits, product development and market research.
Group training, which is offered frequently throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, includes: "Starting a Business in Illinois" workshop, a Business Planning Basics course and the Business Toolkit series.
