FINANCIAL INFORMATION:
Financial Need Requirements:
- Financial need must be demonstrated.
- Student Contribution - Students are expected to contribute as much as possible of summer and part-time work earnings and savings. Applicants must submit their IRS 1040 forms filed for the previous year, as well as current filing when it becomes available.
- Parental Contribution - All parents of students under the age of 26 must submit copies of their IRS 1040 forms filed for the previous year and current filings when they become available. Independent student status or marriage is not an exemption from this requirement.
- Spouse's Contribution - Employed spouses of applicants must submit a copy of their IRS 1040 forms filed for the previous year and the current filing when it becomes available.
- Other Financial Aid - Applicants are expected to apply for loans and private scholarships.
Conditions of Award:
- Awards will be sent to each student's Financial Aid Office twice a year.
- If a recipient's academic record for the first semester of the year in which an award is received
reflects significant academic problems, the second award payment may be withheld.
- If a recipient is awarded additional scholarships or assistance and/or loans not budgeted for,
the amount of the award may be adjusted.
